On September 28 and 29, 2023, the traditional conference of Family Friendly Enterprise and Socially Responsible Employer certificate holders took place in Laško.

Thursday afternoon was dedicated to the Embodied Leadership workshop, where Aleš Kranjc Kušlan, director of Ekvilib Institute, guided participants through the workshop using the embodiment method. Just like last year, this time we used the body as a medium for getting to know ourselves, others, and Mate Gabor's Compassionate Research approach.

The relaxed and movement-conscious event was followed by an evening lecture by Dr. Zvezdan Pirtošek. Prof. Dr. Pirtošek, a specialist neurologist, professor of clinical neurology and head of the Department of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, presented the topic Fog in the Head - Myth or Reality..

Friday morning started with a series of lectures on the topic of wellbeing at work:

• Darja Hvala, Burnout bye bye Mindset Coach: Nobody chooses burnout
• Petra Tekavec, Psychotherapy and Happiness management: Mental health of employees and companies, a key factor behind it
• dr. Alojz Ihan, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana: Long-term Covid and its impact on employees
• Tjaša Jarc, Džungla plants d.o.o.: Positive impact of green workplace

The lecturers then participated in a round table, moderated by Aleš Kranjc Kušlan. They were joined by Dominik Pogorevc from the Sevnica Health Center.

This was followed by a lecture by Martina Bajžlja and Tine Osvald Zaletelj, Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia: What is different in 2023 than in 2019 or where did all the employees go .

Before the joint lunch and farewell, we heard three more good practices of FFE and SRE certificate measures. Geberit d.o.opresented how they implement active breaks in the company. Centerkontura d.o.o. presented their practice of employing disabled people, and Javni Holding Maribor, d. o. o. described how they cooperate intergenerationally in the company Snaga.

Throughout the event, Gibit d.o.o. kept us active during breaks.
