Effects of the certificate

Certification has both short-term and, above all, long-term effects in the company/organisation, which can be observed at various levels:

  • Management:
one of the positive aspects of the introduction of the certificate is that it questions management or senior management about the way they run their business and therefore their employees. By implementing the measures, the management communicates that it is ripe for change, innovation, other or new ways of functioning, and new knowledge. They are ready for additional training (lifelong learning) that broadens their perspective and shows them that the success of the company lies in the hands of all employees, not just a few.
  • Employees:
The certificate is a way for the company to show its employees that it cares about them and their wellbeing at work. As a result, employee satisfaction increases, which is linked to loyalty to the company or organisation. Most importantly, the employee can feel that he/she is a co-creator of the company's/organisation's success. A better work-life balance results in a job without additional worries and stress, which increases employee motivation and productivity.
  • Company:
there are positive economic effects on the company itself, such as increased productivity, as employees are calmer and more focused at work, if they have completed and taken care of all family commitments. As a result, absenteeism is reduced, work organisation is improved, costs related to employee turnover are reduced and the company/organisation gains in reputation.
