On May 14, 2025, Ekvilib Institute awarded Family Friendly Enterprise certificates to new companies and organizations at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ljubljana.

The certificates were presented by Anita Bregar, Director of the Directorate for Family at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, and Petra Hartman, Head of Certification at the Ekvilib Institute, who said:"Exactly 18 years have passed since the first 32 Slovenian companies obtained the Family Friendly Enterprise certificate. The combination of a lucky coincidence and a quality tool, which has been recognized by over 300 employers to date, is responsible for making it one of the more successful stories in our area today.«

At the event, special recognitions were given to companies or organizations that had already decided 6, 9, 13 or even 18 years ago to further improve the possibility of balancing the professional and private lives of their employees and successfully renewed their full certificate after the second, third, fourth or fifth audit.
