On September 24 and 25, 2025, a conference of Family Friendly Enterprise and Socially Responsible Employer certificate holders took place in Laško.

The conference was traditionally opened by Aleš Kranjc Kušlan, director of Ekvilib Institute, with a workshop in which the participants focused on areas of attention and change through the somatic dimension.

Workshop was followed by an evening lecture by Dr. Evgen Benedik, assistant professor in the field of Nutrition at the Biotechnical Faculty - University of Ljubljana, who spoke about the impact of food on work and myths and truths about nutrition.

The main part of the meeting took place on Thursday, when we started the day with a lecture by assistant professor Dr. Otto Gerdina, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, on myths and truths about old age.

After the lecture Ekvilib Institute presented the initiative Company of All Generations and encouraged attendees to sign a socially responsible commitment to intergenerational cooperation. This was followed by a workshop on Intergenerational cooperation and leadership challenges.

The workshop was followed by a round table entitled Success factors of well- functioning internal teams woth participants Jera Majzelj, Odvetniki Šelih & partnerji, o.p., d.o.o., Anja Vinder, Engrotuš d.o.o., Martina Gusel, GKN Driveline Slovenija, d.o.o. and Laura Zagoranski, Zavod za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo dr. Marijana Borštnarja Dornava. The round table was moderated by Petra Hartman and Gašper Zakrajšek from Ekvilib Institute.

After lunch, Bojan Kristan from Gibit d.o.o. presented how to prepare attractive activities within the promotion of health in the workplace. After this, Barbara Zupančič from the Diversity Charter Slovenia shared what the Pay Transparency Directive brings and how to prepare for it.

Thursday afternoon was concluded by Dr. Zvezdan Pirtošek, Head of the Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, with the topic Neuroscience of Leadership.

Gibit d.o.o. guided us throughout the event during active breaks with exercises with elastic exercise bands.
