About the Certificate
Obtaining the Family-Friendly Enterprise certificate is a consulting and auditing process that helps employers implement measures for better human resource management with an emphasis on balancing the professional and family lives of employees. The process is carried out with the help of expert external consultants.
The certificate has already been obtained by 300 Slovenian companies and organizations. Certificate holders employ over 120,000 people. Join them and demonstrate social responsibility towards your employees.
The certificate guarantees short-term and long-term positive effects of harmonizing the professional and private lives of employees, which are reflected in a reduction in staff turnover, sick leave rates, care rates, number of accidents, etc., and an increase in employee satisfaction, motivation, and loyalty, which means clear positive economic effects.
The Family Friendly Enterprise certificate represents a socially responsible management principle and is the only certificate of its kind in Slovenia.

General information
Obtaining the certificate is a consulting and auditing process that serves to assess and advise employers on which tools to use for better human resource management in the context of reconciling the professional and family lives of employees.
Through an internal process, the company sets and implements selected goals and measures. Based on an internal assessment of the current situation, the company, with the help of an external consultant, draws up a plan for the implementation of measures aimed at improving the management of work processes and the quality of the working environment in order to better reconcile work and family life.
Following a positive assessment of the implementation plan for the selected measures by the audit board, the company obtains the basic "Family-Friendly Enterprise" certificate.
After three years, an assessment is made to determine whether the measures have been implemented and the objectives achieved. If the objectives have been achieved, the company obtains the full "Family-Friendly Enterprise" certificate.
